One of the fundamental elements in our storage equipment is Styrofoam, a material consisting of approximately 98% air.
This distinctive feature enables Styrofoam to trap air within numerous small pockets, forming millions of tiny air bubbles within the foam. Due to air’s poor heat conductivity, Styrofoam effectively inhibits the transfer of heat. Unlike materials that readily conduct heat, air’s low mass restricts its capacity to store significant amounts of heat, leading to minimal heat transfer through convection. Moreover, Styrofoam lacks efficiency in conducting or radiating heat, further impeding the flow of thermal energy. Its ability to minimize both conduction and convection renders it one of the most superior insulating materials available.
Suitable for delivery that needed to last more than 2 days and above.
Recommended to utilise with Styrofoam box to reduce sublimation during transit.
